Soon, a sportsperson can become DSP, BDO in UP
Sportspersons from UP who win medals at the Asian Games, Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games or the World Cup will be absorbed as gazetted officer. The proposal was cleared by the cabinet on Tuesday.
