TOI press staff get pointers on road safety & traffic rules
To celebrate the ongoing Safety Month, a session on "Road Safety and Traffic Rules" was conducted at The Times of India Chinhat Press in Lucknow on Thursday. The session was conducted by deputy commissioner of police, traffic, Rayees Akhtar. The officer told TOI staff about the importance of following traffic rules, benefits of wearing helmet, and at the same time buy a helmet with the ISI mark. He also shared phone numbers of officials who can be contacted by the public in case of an emergency or distress related to traffic. The officer spoke at length on the Good Samaritan concept and apprised the staff on how to help anyone injured in a road accident.
