Tomato prices hit household budget in Bihar
Amid the high fuel and LPG prices, tomato is also burning holes in the pockets of residents. Vegetable vendors in the wholesale markets at Patna claimed that the tomato prices have surged from Rs12-15/kg to Rs50-60/kg within a month primarily due to short supply from other states.
