Unlike health survey stats, actual data shows Goa’s sex ratio better
While the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) for 2019-20 had shown that Goa’s sex ratio was unusually skewed at 838 female births per 1,000 males born, the Civil Registration System (CRS) data released for 2020 has shown that Goa’s sex ratio as per actual births registered was much better at 947 females born per 1,000 males.
