UP: Ex-BJP MLA gets 3 yrs jail in 24-yr-old case
The MP-MLA court in Jhansi has sentenced a former BJP MLA from Mauranipur constituency of Jhansi district, Pragilal Ahirwar along with one of his associates to three years in jail for thrashing a block development officer (BDO) 24 years ago. Both were later on released on bail.
