UP man ‘strangles’ son, dumps him in forest
Following a tiff with his wife over staying at his uncle’s house, a drunk Ram Lakhan, 29, allegedly picked up his three-year-old son by the scruff of his neck and tried to strangle him on Saturday night. Assuming he was dead, he dumped the body in a nearby forest and returned to his uncle’s house an hour later. He claimed he had left his son home. Subsequently, he confessed to what he had done.
