UP: Mauritian PM’s mother offers b'day prayers
“For me, today’s visit to this temple is very special because today is my birthday. It is my luck that I got a chance to come here to offer prayers to the Goddess Vindhyavasini on my birthday,” she said after the darshan and pujan of the deity. “Ye meri kismat hi hai” (It is my luck to be here), she said in Hindi, and added that there is no difference between the cultures of Mauritius and India (Kuchh farak nahi hai).
