UP MLAs’ LAD fund increased to Rs 5cr per annum
In a major boost to development works undertaken by the UP MLAs, their local area development fund was increased from the existing Rs 3 crore to Rs 5 crore per annum on Tuesday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made this announcement on the floor of the house during his speech on the state budget. The announcement was welcomed with the thumping of desks by MLAs of both ruling and opposition parties.
