Gill was seen entering a hotel in Ahmedabad ahead of their game against Delhi Capitals and the fan's reactions have gone viral on social media.

Mathematically both batters needed to hit 22 off 9 balls and that's how the thinking goes and if one batter goes berserk that will do," Gill said at the presentation ceremony after GT's victory over RR.
"I would have loved to finish the game, but very happy with Rahul and Rashid bhai for finishing the job for us. Winning the ball off the last ball is always a great feeling. He (Rashid Khan) is someone who you always want in your team, he is such a competitor," the GT captain added.
Gill did not have a great start to the IPL season but the opener has made a solid comeback and he currently has 255 runs from 6 matches at a strike rate of 151.78. He has scored two half-centuries and his 72-run knock in the match against Rajasthan Royals was instrumental in clinching the win for his team.
