Will cancel Agnipath scheme 'as soon as we come to power', says SP chief Akhilesh Yadav

Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath announced preferential treatment for retired Agniveers in police recruitment. The scheme, launched in 2022, recruits youths on a four-year term basis, offering 25 percent permanent positions later.
