With prices set to tumble, tomato to be back on menu
People can expect a little relief as tomato prices are likely to drop in the second half of August due to arrival of new crop from Nashik, Narayangaon and Aurangabad areas and from Madhya Pradesh. This will meet the tomato demand, stabilizing its prices to some extent. People have also started using less tomatoes due to its high prices which has also resulted in a little dip in its demand.
