18-yr-old girl lives her dream, dons ADG cap for a day
On International Day of the Girl Child, 18-year-old Roshini, who aspires to be an IPS officer, was made the additional director general of the Women and Child Security Organisation (WCSO) in Lucknow. The symbolic gesture was aimed at building confidence and awareness about the police system among girls and women. Roshini, who comes from a humble background, has been actively working for the betterment of girl children in her village, campaigning against child marriage and promoting girl education.
