Anti-Gangster Task Force, SIT formed to deal with gangs, probe paper leaks
Rajasthan Police forms Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Special Investigation Team (SIT) to tackle organised crime, paper leaks in recruitment exams. AGTF, headed by ADGP Dinesh MN, to identify criminal syndicates, coordinate with national agencies. SIT, led by ADGP VK Singh, to investigate paper leaks, seize assets of accused. AGTF to address menace of criminal gangs like Lawrence Bishnoi, Rohit Godara, Virendra Charan. Formation of AGTF in response to high-profile murders. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announces decision after swearing-in ceremony. Special Operations Group (SOG) previously handled tasks now assigned to SIT.
