The speculation surrounding the future of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in T20Is has been the talk of the town, specially within the cricket fraternity, following India's defeat in the World Cup final against Australia. Skipper Rohit and Kohli have been away from the shortest format since India's T20 World Cup semi-final exit in November 2022. Hardik Pandya has mostly led the Indian team in T20Is since then.
