Fed up of police apathy, Ambedkar Nagar locals install CCTVs to deter goons
A group of citizens at Chandramani Chowk in Ambedkar Nagar, tormented by anti-social elements and ignored by authorities, have collected donations to install six CCTV cameras at crime prone spots in the locality. They said many untoward incidents like assaults or molestations have taken place at these spots. The residents have also erected a board declaring ‘darubandi’ or liquor prohibition in their locality.
