Goa assembly polls: Congress fails to cash in on mood as newbies nibble away votes
Despite massive anti-incumbency against BJP, Congress couldn’t capitalise on voter sentiment as a huge division of votes meant it got just 11 seats in the 40-member House. The surprisingly low tally was a significant drop from 2017, when it won 17 seats.
