Goa first to provide tap water to every house, says Centre 
On Wednesday, Goa received its certification as the first state in the country to provide 100% tap connectivity to every household. On October 9, 2020, Union minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat declared Goa as the first state to provide tap water to every rural household.
