'How many killed during BJP rule,' asks Akhilesh over stray cattle menace 
Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has demanded that the Uttar Pradesh government disclose the number of deaths caused by stray cattle attacks in the past five years under BJP rule. Yadav questioned whether the BJP's promises to resolve the issue before elections were sincere and called for clarification on the compensation provided to victims. He also raised concerns about the functioning of cow shelters and the actions taken against corruption allegations. During the 2022 assembly polls, BJP leaders had pledged to address the problem within 15 days of forming the government.
