Impersonator gets 3-yr RI after 41 yrs of trial in Nalanda
Nalanda district and sessions judge Ramesh Chandra Diwedi on Saturday converted three-year simple jail term awarded to an impersonator to three-year rigorous imprisonment for trying to grab valuable property of a landlord in Nalanda and Patna districts by posing as his son, who had gone missing in 1977. The accused had moved the court of the district judge to challenge a recent conviction order against him by the additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM), Biharsharif.
