JD(U) releases list of 16, drops 2 MPs, picks pair of turncoats
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's JD(U) dropped two sitting MPs and picked a pair of turncoats, both of whom joined the party recently, in a list of 16 Lok Sabha candidates announced on Sunday. Former MP and gangster-politician Anand Mohan's wife, Lovely Anand, was fielded in the Sheohar seat within days of jumping ship. Vijayalaxmi Devi, who joined JD(U) on Saturday, got the ticket for Siwan.
