Lucknow: Chicken delivered in place of paneer dish; two booked
A Chinese restaurant owner and a food delivery aggregator employee in Lucknow, India, have been booked for allegedly delivering non-vegetarian food to a vegetarian family. The family had ordered dry chilli paneer but received chilli chicken instead. The incident led to the family feeling hurt due to their religious beliefs, and the matter is being investigated under IPC 295 A. The restaurant owner and delivery boy have been named in the complaint, and a thorough probe will be conducted.
