Power tariff likely to be hiked by 5-10 paise per unit: Goa minister Ramkrishna Dhavalikar
Power minister Ramkrishna ‘Sudin’ Dhavalikar said on Saturday that the government may hike the electricity tariff by 5 to 10 paisa per unit. The hike that was declared about six months ago would be implemented now to raise revenue so that pending power projects could be initiated, he said.
