Stubble burning on rise in Punjab again
After a day of low count, the crop residue burning again picked up pace in Punjab with the state registering 2,487 cases on Monday, taking the total tally to 32,486. On Sunday, only 599 stubble burning cases were recorded – the lowest in a fortnight.
