TOI Exclusive: PM Narendra Modi likely to carry Ram Lalla idol from makeshift to new Ayodhya temple 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have to walk more than 500 meters on foot during the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22. The temple trust is expected to offer him the role of carrying the existing movable idol of Lord Ram to the newly constructed temple. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat will also be present. The main puja, presided over by Modi, will take place between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm, with leading priests from across the country participating.
