Took provisional suspension for swift resolution of my doping case: Dipa Karmakar
After reports came out about her 21-month ban for failing a dope test, Indian gymnastics star Dipa Karmakar took to social media on Saturday to clarify that she had accepted provisional suspension with the hope of a swift resolution of her case with the international federation. Karmakar also claimed that she had 'unknowingly ingested' the banned substance, which was found in her dope sample taken last year in October.
