Use dung logs at crematoriums: UP govt to civic bodies
In a green initiative, instead of firewood, logs made using cow dung are going to be used for cremating bodies. The urban development department has asked the urban local bodies in the state to use pellets and briquettes (compressed mass of combustible biomass material) as an alternative to wood at the crematoriums being operated across cities and towns of the state.
